Due to continued business growth our client, a well-established CNC Machining company, is looking to recruit a Driver/FLT Operator to join their existing team.
The Driver/FLT Operator is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of their site. You will be responsible for both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to move materials on site
- Delivery of materials from customers and suppliers.
- Load and unload lorries efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Responsible for General Housekeeping of site
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse if required - Fabrication / Assembly etc.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential, with a strong understanding of materials handling.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures, as well as picking and packing processes.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is required
- Full UK Driving Licence is required
Hours of Work are Monday to Thursday 06.30am to 15:30/ Friday is 06.30 to 12.30.
In return the company offers a very competitive salary of up to £28,000 DOE + overtime +excellent benefits
