We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Agent with a solid highways background to join a team working on junction improvements in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an essential infrastructure project for a period of 18 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations for the junction improvement works.
Ensure the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Provide reports on site progress, challenges, and resolutions to senior management.
Requirements:
Proven experience in highways construction and junction improvements.
Strong understanding of site management and engineering principles.
Ability to manage a team, monitor progress, and resolve site issues promptly.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders.
SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification.
Valid CSCS card.
Previous experience working on highways or junction improvement projects is essential.
