We are seeking a diligent and experienced Health and Safety Manager, with manufacturing experience, who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.

Description

Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies/systems
Conduct training sessions on health and safety practices
Promoting a positive H&S culture throughout he business
Incident reporting and investigations
Manage and develop continual improvement practices
Manage a H&S budget on a monthly basis
Report audit findings/action plans to Leadership teams
Hold regular safety meetings with leadership teams

Profile

A successful Health and Safety Manager should have:

Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager
Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits and inspections
Experience in liaising with external bodies (HSE)
Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and quality standards for the manufacturing sector
Ability to manager projects and lead change effectively
NEBOSH General Certificate
Self motivated/proactive
COSHH assessment experience
