We are seeking a diligent and experienced Health and Safety Manager, with manufacturing experience, who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.

Description

  • Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies/systems
  • Conduct training sessions on health and safety practices
  • Promoting a positive H&S culture throughout he business
  • Incident reporting and investigations
  • Manage and develop continual improvement practices
  • Manage a H&S budget on a monthly basis
  • Report audit findings/action plans to Leadership teams
  • Hold regular safety meetings with leadership teams

Profile

A successful Health and Safety Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits and inspections
  • Experience in liaising with external bodies (HSE)
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and quality standards for the manufacturing sector
  • Ability to manager projects and lead change effectively
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Self motivated/proactive
  • COSHH assessment experience
