Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist solicitors with all aspects of commercial property transactions, including sales, acquisitions, and leases.
  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents such as contracts, leases, licenses, and deeds.
  • Conduct searches, such as Land Registry, planning, and local authority searches.
  • Handle post-completion matters, including registration of property transactions with the Land Registry.
  • Liaise with clients, agents, solicitors, and other third parties to ensure smooth and timely progress of transactions.
  • Maintain and update case files and client records.
  • Carry out legal research to support the commercial property team.
  • Provide general administrative support, including preparing correspondence and organizing meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal in a commercial property or real estate team is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property law and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
