Credit Controller | £26,000 - £28,000 DOE | Blackburn + Hybrid (2 days in office) | Hybrid and Flexible Working Patterns | 25 Days plus Bank HolidaysAxon Moore are pleased to be working exclusively on behalf of a rapidly-growing business as they look to recruit a Credit Controller to join the department. You will join a small and friendly team working in an exciting role and it is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly with the option of hybrid working.This role will be well suited to experienced Credit Controllers who are keen input their ideas in regard to process improvement and are able to collect owed monies quickly and efficiently. The candidate must have a keen eye for detail as well as being able to build long-lasting internal and external relationships. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Chasing overdue invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Working closely to resolve customer queries and problematic accounts
  • Building positive working relations with key accounts
  • Opening new accounts for customers, performing credit checks and terms reviews
  • Using initiative to suggest and develop any improvements to current ways of working
  • Weekly debtors meeting with team and management
  • Working closely with the sales team to resolve disputes and issues that may impact collections
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working in credit control
  • Highly numerate, analytical, organised, process minded and with a great attention to detail
  • Willingness to continually learn and develop as an individual
  • Great communication skills and ability to work with colleagues across all levels
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work to tight customer deadlines
  • Honest and discreet with a professional and diligent approach to work
  • A positive and pro-active team player but equally able to work independently
