They are seeking a Credit Controller to join the Accounting & Finance department, where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the finances of our retail company to ensure financial stability and efficient operation.

Description
You will be responsible for:
- Manage and oversee the entire credit granting process
- Monitor and resolve billing and credit issues
- Evaluate customer's creditworthiness
- Create credit scoring models to predict risks
- Set up payment plans and ensure payments are received promptly
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
- Ensure compliance with regulations and adhere to company policies
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role
- Solid understanding of lending procedures
- Excellent knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
