The Company was formed in 1981 to supply quarry products to the construction industry, and is now  one of the largest businesses of its type in the Northwest.
Duties include:
- Building strong relationships with our customers and suppliers
- Route planning for drivers & checking haulage rates
- Handling disruptions including breakdowns and delays
- Managing the fleet & drivers
- Booking materials with quarries & checking invoices
- Pricing customer enquiries and issuing quotations
- Liaising with our accounts / transport departments and hauliers
- Maintaining accurate records
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service ethics
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers and suppliers
- Good sales acumen
- Geographical knowledge of the UK and an understanding of logistics / route planning would be an advantage Â
- Problem solving
- Organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good computer, Word / Excel and keyboarding skills

Salary £26 to £29,000 pa
The hours of work are 8.00am until 5.00pm – Monday to Friday
