Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with challenging behavior. This is a full-time role in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Work 1:1 with a child in KS2, supporting them through the curriculum and managing challenging behavior.
  • Assist the child with emotional and social development, promoting positive behavior.
  • Support the class teacher with planning and delivery of lessons.
  • Help create a safe and engaging learning environment tailored to the child's needs.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Teaching Assistance or Childcare (Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Experience working with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Strong communication, patience, and behavior management skills.
  • SEN experience is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
