We are looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to work assisting children who need extra academic support to start in September for schools in the BB1 area. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to gain more experience and build on their CV.

Requirements
- SEN experience or any experience working with children is fine
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to get one)
- Strong work ethic
- Able to adapt to the different needs of the child
- Be able to liaise with parents and other staff
- Good safeguarding knowledge
Responsibilities
- Support the child with additional needs
- Providing support to the child both academically and socially
- Assisting the teacher with the paperwork in keeping track of the progress of the child
- Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support
- Doing 1:1 interventions, mainly maths and English
