EYFS TA - Blackburn:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join one of our excellent schools near to Blackburn. For this role, you will need previous experience with Early Years and a relevant qualification in Early Childhood.

The Role:

  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for children.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.

Position Details:

  • Location: Blackburn
  • Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant
  • Hours: 8:45am-4pm, Mon-Fri, during term time only
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 95 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education would be highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
