Teaching Assistant - Primary School ( Blackburn)

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a solid background in the UK primary education system. We are seeking an adaptable TA to work across all year groups at a one-form entry primary school based in Blackburn. This full-time role requires flexibility to accommodate the ever-changing needs of the school, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

As a TA, you will be expected to provide high-quality support across various year groups, from Early Years to Year 6.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with lesson delivery
  • Supporting individual and group learning
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour.
  • Being proactive in adapting to different classroom environments
  • Being capable of working closely with teachers to enhance the educational experience of the students.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school within the UK, with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and a proven ability to support learning in a variety of settings. You must be reliable, committed, and passionate about making a positive impact on children's education.
