Location: Blackburn BB1, UK


Salary: £48,960 per annum


Shifts: Night Shifts - Sunday to Thursday - 10:00pm/6:00am

Job Description

Are you a skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer? We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to support machinery optimization and troubleshooting during night shifts in a fast-paced environment.


What youll be doing:

Diagnosing and correcting electrical and mechanical faults across the site

Installing and commissioning new and repaired machinery

Reporting daily breakdowns and PPM activities

Prioritizing repair work and monitoring machine performance

Coordinating with the Planning Department on machine availability

Monitoring equipment failure and supporting external contractors

Providing technical support to production as needed


Key responsibilities include:

Leading engineering activities to minimize downtime

Achieving PPM targets and maintaining GMP standards

Ensuring safety and audit standards in the Engineering Department


Qualifications

Relevant engineering qualification

Proven competency in electrical safety, isolation, and safe panel entry

FMCG experience preferred

PC literate and familiar with computer-based maintenance systems

Ability to strip, reassemble, and adjust machines for size changes
