Electrical Panel Builder

Proactive Personnel are currently looking for an Electrical Panel Builder to start work for our client based in Blackburn.

Duties include:

• Must be able to identify, handle & process the mechanical & electrical components used in the construction & equipping of electrical control panels & automation machinery.
• Must have a full understanding of wiring small & large electrical control panels for automation systems.
• Must be able to mark out, drill/cut & assemble electrical control panels & sub-assemblies to drawing.
• Must be able to Interpret wiring diagrams & wire control panels to drawing.
• Must have the appropriate hand & battery powered tools to complete the work above.
• Must be able to read & implement complex instructions to plan, organise and manage workload in conjunction with the Engineers and production team.
• Must be able to adopt, Implement & Comply with all Company Health & Safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum 3 Years skilled experience in the manufacture of Electrical Control Panels - reading wiring & assembly diagrams, mechanical equipping & cabling.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
• ONC (Or equivalent), in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (preferred)
• NVQ L3, City & Guilds L3 (Or equivalent), in Electrical Installations (preferred)
• ECS card & IPAF card (preferred)

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00- 16:30.

This is a permanent position, with availability to interview immediately.

Salaray is dependent on experience.
