Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to join their team, working on social housing projects across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and West Yorkshire. They are a renewables and electrical specialist, committed to delivering high-quality solutions to their clients. This role will involve overseeing a team of electricians, ensuring high-quality electrical installations, and providing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead a team of electricians on social housing projects.
  • Sign off electrical work and certifications in line with current regulations.
  • Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspection of electrical systems.
  • Assess new jobs and allocate materials and labour effectively.
  • Carry out material checks to ensure all required components are available.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to electricians.
  • Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent).
  • 2391 Testing and Inspection.
  • Experience working on social housing projects.
  • Previous experience leading a team of electricians.
  • Ability to sign off electrical work and complete certifications.
  • Solar experience desirable.
