Senior Finance Manager | Blackburn | Paying up to £67k

Robert Half is partnering with a successful and growing company who is expanding its Finance Team and seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join. This role is perfect for someone looking to make a significant impact within a fast-paced and growing environment.

About the Role:

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be a key player in overseeing end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and the implementation of improved procedures and controls. You'll report directly to the Financial Controller and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor day-to-day financial operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly and annual reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with operational teams and senior stakeholders to drive financial success.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize financial risk for the organization.
  • Engage deeply in the year-end audit process, addressing performance-related queries.
  • Lead various projects focused on automation and system improvements (SAP/POS).
  • Produce the monthly Board Pack and Profit & Loss Account.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and equipped with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
