Rare opportunity for a part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) accountant to join a thriving privately owned business as Finance Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director and with support from a Portfolio Finance Director you will lead the finance function for this £10m t/o business. Specific duties will include:

  • Day to day management of the finance function including 3 staff
  • Production of the monthly management accounts, variance analysis and KPI reporting
  • Management of the company bank accounts, cashflow management including cash flow forecasting
  • Attending management meetings and delivery of the financial aspects of the board report with support from the portfolio FD
  • Budgeting and forecasting

There is an opportunity for this role to grow in line with company success with full support from a highly experienced Portfolio FD who has a strong track record of mentoring people into higher level roles.

This would suit someone who is actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA who is proven as a Management Accountant and confident communicating at all levels. Previous staff supervision experience is desirable but not essential.
