Your new companyJoin a rapidly growing retail business in Blackburn at an exciting point in their journey where you can come in and have a real impact on their expansion across the UK, and where the progression and development opportunities are excellent.Your new roleAs an FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of the company. You will oversee the consolidation of financial reports, maintain and update long-term financial models, and partner with the head office and brand finance teams to ensure accurate and insightful business reporting. Your responsibilities will include consolidating and preparing weekly and monthly financial reports, analysing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and providing actionable insights to senior management. You will also lead the annual budgeting process, develop and manage daily cash flow forecasts, and act as the primary finance business partner for the head office. Additionally, you will work closely with the Business Intelligence team to enhance and automate reporting processes and continuously assess and improve reporting tools.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in sales analysis and data interpretation. You should be able to develop and maintain strategic partnerships, think creatively and strategically for marketing initiatives, and possess strong organisational and project management skills. Experience in financial reporting and analysis, long-term financial model management, budget management and consolidation, and cash flow forecasting is essential. You should also have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and liaise with external parties to incorporate macroeconomic data into financial models. First time movers from practice will be considered if they have had exposure to deals advisory.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive a salary up to £60,000, and a performance-based bonus scheme, plus benefits including flexible working hours, employee discounts, and a range of health and wellbeing initiatives.
