Your new companyJoin a growing finance team within an established business in Blackburn, who are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to sit in their Commercial Finance function. You will work on-site in their Blackburn offices, with some hybrid flexibility offered, in addition to flexible working hours.Your new roleAs a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor, supporting the company's financial strategy and management to ensure fiscal health and sustainability. Your role will involve overseeing financial planning, managing budgets, and analysing financial performance to support decision-making processes. You will identify potential business opportunities to enhance the company's financial performance through sales generation, margin improvement, and cost reduction. Additionally, you will provide expertise and guidance to senior stakeholders, develop and implement policies and processes, and lead cross-functional initiatives to maximise the company's performance opportunities. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.) with at least 3 years of post-qualified experience. You should have a proven track record of leading delivery within a complex organisation and the ability to maintain a strong connection between the finance team and business teams. Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills are also important for this role. Proficiency in Excel is essential, with experience in Power BI desirable. You should be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, and possess the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities. You will have prior experience of developing, encouraging, and leading high-performance teams, and be confident in presenting to and challenging senior stakeholders.
