We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks within the warehouse environment and using the MHE Trucks to relocate stock. To apply you must have a valid Counterbalance licence and be willing to train on other in house vehicles including: Reach, Clamp and PPT.
The working hours are rotating shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and nights 10pm-6am rotating weekly. There is an 80 wage bonus for working nights as long as all night shifts are completed.
Duties:
- Load and unload goods from vehicles such as lorries and vans
- Extract correct information required in order to provide correct raw materials for each job
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Manage the warehouse management system to track inventory and orders
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage
- Understanding waste disposal
- Utilise basic maths skills for inventory counting and order fulfilment
- Organise warehouse space efficiently
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Strong organisational skills to manage inventory effectively
