Job description

Overview:

Our client, a reputable legal practice based in Lancashire, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team. As part of their mission to provide exceptional legal services, they are looking for a skilled individual to handle clinical negligence cases with precision and compassion.

Responsibilities:

- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to completion.- Experience of clinical negligence cases from instruction to legal completion.

-The ability to provide solutions for clients and communicate this in a way that they can understand, both in writing and on the telephone.

-A detailed approach to your work and the ability to work to tight timescales when required.

-Highly organised and highly detailed orientated.

-The ability to work and manage complex cases.

- Drafting court documents to issue proceedings

- Liaising with client for further information/documents required in order to fully evidence claim.

- Reviewing offers received and providing advice as to the risks to client

- Reviewing defences and preparing replies

- Drafting List of Documents and reviewing Defendant’s List

- Taking and drafting witness statements from client and any other witnesses

- Preparing client and case for trial

- Briefing counsel

- Attending trials where in local vicinity

Qualifications:

- Qualified solicitor with a focus on clinical negligence law.- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling clinical negligence cases.- Strong negotiation skills to advocate for clients effectively.- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.- Commitment to providing top-notch client service.
