Job Title: Financial Mis-selling Solicitor
Location: Blackburn (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000
About the Role:
Our client, a leading law firm based in Blackburn, is looking for an experienced Financial Mis-selling Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE to join their team. This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work both remotely and from their Blackburn office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation in financial mis-selling cases, including PCP agreements, Mis-Sold Business Energy, Plevin & PPI, and Mis-Sold Pensions & SIPPs.
- Manage a varied caseload of complex claims from start to finish.
- Conduct thorough case assessments and develop effective legal strategies.
- Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
- Attend court hearings and mediations when necessary.
- Stay informed on the latest legal developments and regulatory changes in financial mis-selling.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years PQE in financial mis-selling or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and mis-selling practices.
- Experience in handling cases involving PCP agreements, Mis-Sold Business Energy, Plevin & PPI, and Mis-Sold Pensions & SIPPs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven success in managing and resolving complex legal cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- High degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
