Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join their established business and dynamic finance team in Blackburn. The ideal candidate will bring experience in shipping imports, a fast-paced manufacturing background, and a proven track record in processing high volumes of invoices. Duties as Purchase Ledger Controller will include: -

  • Processing and reconciling high numbers of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices

  • Managing both fulfilled and unfulfilled orders

  • Overseeing purchase and credit returns

  • Efficiently handling BACS payment runs

  • Preparing and managing purchase reports, as well as month-end reporting

  • Ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping

  • Conducting VAT and tax code checks and calculations
