Do you enjoy being busy and no two days are ever the same? An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established manufacturing company. We are seeking an experienced Order Administrator / Customer Service Specialist to join the team. You will work within the busy Sales Team, and will play a vital role in the smooth running of the Sales Process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with both existing and potential customers, dealing with enquirers via telephone and email.
  • Provision of quotations via email using company quotation software
  • Process incoming customer orders through the company order management system
  • Verify order accuracy, including product details, quantities, and pricing
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Continual monitoring and updating of lead times
  • Arranging collection or delivery for outgoing orders
  • Address and resolve customer queries, arranging service calls if required
  • Maintain accurate computer and paper records
  • Manage and organise office operations and procedures

Experience and Skills:

  • At least 2 year's previous experience in sales order processing or a similar role is preferred
  • Familiarity with order management systems and software
  • Experience in dealing with diagrams / drawings / CAD drawings would be an advantage
  • Experience working within the manufacturing industry will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft office 365, must be confident using spreadsheets
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP or MRP will be an advantage
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn new software programs and adaptable to change

You will be detail-oriented and a highly organised individual Responsible for accurately processing and fulfilling customer orders in collaboration with the production team. This involves sales, quotations, filing and organizing paperwork as well as dealing with customer's day to day needs. This is a vital role in the company's operations, ensuring all customers receive their orders accurately and receive the best level of service you can possibly give.
