My client a well established manufacturing company based in Blackburn is currently seeking a Stock Checker to join their team and ensure the accurate monitoring of inventory levels in the warehouse.
The working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
Duties
- Conduct regular checks of stock levels to maintain accurate records
- Monitor stock movement and report any discrepancies
- Organise and label stock items for easy identification
- Comparing items received against the orders
- Checking the system for stock locations Completing relevant paperwork
- Assist in stocktaking activities as required
- Utilise organisational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment
Requirements
- Strong time management skills to efficiently carry out stock checking duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
