Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Production Planner to join their team and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

The Role

As a Production Planner, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to:

  • Plan and Coordinate Production: Assist in creating and adjusting schedules to meet deadlines, maintain workflow, and ensure resource availability.
  • Monitor Production and Report: Track progress, document key metrics, and prepare detailed reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage Inventory: Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to ensure materials are available, conduct stock checks, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support Quality Control: Ensure materials meet specifications and participate in implementing corrective actions for any quality issues.
  • Ensure Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while working on the factory floor and during administrative tasks.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Previous experience in planning positions in a manufacturing environment is essential, ideally in production planning or operations support.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management.
  • Proactive and adaptable problem-solver.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
