Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Production Planner to join their team and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

The Role
As a Production Planner, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to:
- Plan and Coordinate Production: Assist in creating and adjusting schedules to meet deadlines, maintain workflow, and ensure resource availability.
- Monitor Production and Report: Track progress, document key metrics, and prepare detailed reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage Inventory: Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to ensure materials are available, conduct stock checks, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Support Quality Control: Ensure materials meet specifications and participate in implementing corrective actions for any quality issues.
- Ensure Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while working on the factory floor and during administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in planning positions in a manufacturing environment is essential, ideally in production planning or operations support.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management.
- Proactive and adaptable problem-solver.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
