£14.00p/h - £16.00p/h DOE + OT (PAYE or UMBRELLA – inside IR35)

I am working with a key client in the Blackburn, Lancashire area who are a leading global manufacturer and supplier of technical components to the aerospace sector. They are looking to recruit a Manual Hand Router, to work on the build and process of composite and fibre glass assemblies, for critical projects:
As a Router Technician, you will be required to conduct the following duties:
- Routing components and structures to a high finish
- Used to working to high specification – hand routing around the whole component
- Reading and interpreting Engineering drawings
- Using air power tools – router experience
- Prepping parts in jigs to ensure precision of work
- Work to company processes & Health & Safety procedures
The Router Technician will need to have the following attributes:
- Ideally qualified with NVQ L2 or 3 in Engineering or Manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and mechanically minded
- Able to use power tools and manual routers
- Hard worker with standards
- A strong team player
- Experience within a precision manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
The benefits of this position:
- Monday to Thursday 37 hours p/e standard. Overtime Friday & Saturdays T1.5 & Sundays T2.
- Temp to perm for the right candidate after 3 months
