Description
- Develop and implement H&S policies and programs.
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
- Initiate and organise H&S training of employees and executives.
- Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker's compensation claims.
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
Profile
- Proven experience as a H&S Officer or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of SHEQ MS and databases.
- Excellent organisational and motivational skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
