Description

  • Develop and implement H&S policies and programs.
  • Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.
  • Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
  • Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
  • Initiate and organise H&S training of employees and executives.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker's compensation claims.
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

Profile

  • Proven experience as a H&S Officer or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of SHEQ MS and databases.
  • Excellent organisational and motivational skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
