Consortium are pleased to be collaborating with a longstanding and global leading chemical manufacturer who are looking to recruit an experienced HSE Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business who are synonymous with technical excellence in their field.  The role:
  • Ensure the QMS follows ISO9001 standards.
  • Maintain quality procedures and documentation.
  • Coordinate risk assessments, issue work permits and carry out weekly site inspections.
  • Ensure systems are in place to meet customer requirements for production.
  • Implement and maintain company health and safety policies.
  • Testing and monitoring of effluent ensuring it complies with site discharge regulations.
  • Internal site audits when required.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and internal auditing.
  • Good working knowledge of quality and environmental management systems.
  • NEBOSH trained would be preferable.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
