The RoleÂ
As a lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to delivery, planning, development and student support. You will deliver English GCSE and Functional Skills, teaching fulltime and part time learners. You will be committed to excellence, offering the very highest standards in teaching. You will also be expected to take responsibility for high-levels of attendance and achievement on courses delivered, as well as all administrative tasks related to class responsibility.
What we are looking for
You should have a  minimum Level 4 or above qualification in relevant subject discipline and a recognised teaching qualification (or to achieve within 2 years of appointment).
Experience of teaching in a further education environment and of working with 19+ groups is desirable.
