Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic PMLD Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school in Blackburn. Although experience working with Special Needs in a school is preferred, any professional or personal experience supporting Complex Needs is what actually matters in this role; an understanding of how to provide exceptional care and nurture a child with complex needs is what makes the difference in this role. This role is paid on a daily rate of at least GBP95 but may exceed this, depending on a candidates experience and training.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:
- Have experience working with children that have SEN Needs on a 1:1 or group basis
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Take initiative
- Committed to work 5 days a week

- Start date ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing
- Hours: 9am-4pm
- The minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP 95 per day.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide professional references to cover the past 2 years
- Committed to meeting our rigorous compliance requirements
