Are you a proactive and dedicated Human Resources professional looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Officer who will play a key role in managing and enhancing HR functions within a dynamic organisation. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices but who also enjoys autonomy in their role.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Coordinate the entire recruitment process, including developing job descriptions, preparing adverts, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Administer new starter and leaver processes, including preparing contracts and managing employment paperwork.
  • Provide HR support and advice to line managers, assisting with HR processes and note-taking during formal meetings.
  • Manage HR-related databases and systems, ensuring accurate data entry for absences, holiday leave, and training records.
  • Support the development and maintenance of digital and paper-based employee records.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and support the Head of HR/Operations as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Human Resources
  • Strong understanding of HR processes
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in using HR information systems
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
