As a Master Data Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's finance team. You will manage a small team of specialists, defining master data processes that support business requirements. Your role will involve managing change requests in SAP, leading the implementation processes, extracting data from various systems, and monitoring data quality metrics. You will also present regularly to the leadership team while ensuring all process controls are maintained. This role requires a keen eye for detail as you will be responsible for preventing outdated or incorrect data within ERP systems.

  • Manage and lead a small team of specialists, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
  • Define master data processes, models, and hierarchies to support business requirements.
  • Manage the SLA's change / set up requests in SAP.
  • Lead the implementation and management of processes and quality tools.
  • Extract data from SAP and internal systems, monitor and analyse data quality metrics and KPIs related to master data
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with master data management.
  • Present to the leadership team on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all process and system controls are maintained and reported on.
  • Prevent bad / outdated data within the ERP systems.

The ideal candidate for this Master Data Manager position brings proven leadership skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to analyse large data sets. You should have finance or accounting qualifications or relevant experience within a financial setting. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be key in this role, as well as your ability to deliver results against KPIs and SLAs. You should have experience managing stakeholders and possess excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage your own time and workload is essential, as is experience working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven management/leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to extract large data sets, analysing transactions and understanding the processes and information presented.
  • Obtained or working towards finance / accounting qualifications or relevant experience within a financial setting.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Results driven with proven record of delivery against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Experience of stakeholder management.
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across functions at a senior level to influence and effect change to achieve common goals.
  • Well organised with the ability to manage own time and workload.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced / transactional environment.
