A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Technical and Design Manager to oversee the structured design process. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all design activities, ensuring thorough and well-documented drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage a small team of Design Engineers, driving productivity and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to enhance manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
- Manage Type Approval (Conformity of Production) requirements and serve as the primary liaison with vehicle manufacturers' technical and homologation teams.
- Drive proactive product development initiatives, working closely with technical sales, operations, and customers.
- Oversee engineering change control processes and contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction and quality enhancement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Management or Leadership role
- Engineer background, with strong understanding of Design & Technical Engineering
- Degree qualified preferred, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and people skills

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: 4.5 days - full time - flexible
