HGV Technician needed

Our client, a Haulage & Bulk Aggregates company providing a range of haulage, waste management and recycling solutions , is seeking for a HGV Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will a strong HGV background and a highly skilled , looking to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Role:HGV Technician
Hours:Mon to Fri 7:30am to 5pm = 45hrs of work
Location:Blackburn
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician with a solid understanding of both plant and haulage vehicles.
- NVQ Level 3qualification in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, ortime-servedwith extensive practical experience.
- Ability to workindependentlyand manage time effectively.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Full driving licence (category C+E preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to HGVs in line with company standards.
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
- Travel to customer locations to carry out repairs and servicing on-site.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest quality.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
