We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our dynamic engineering team in Blackburn. This full-time role offers the chance to work on exciting projects within a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for engineering projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design concepts and solutions.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and client specifications.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback or design changes.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and effective.
• Provide technical support and assist in the planning of projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Previous experience working as a CAD designer in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate designs.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and colleagues.

The Package
This is a temporary, CAD Designer role,39 hours per week for an initial 3 months, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, meaning the role could be extended, or become permanent.
