I am seeking to speak with a hardworking and enthusiastic solicitor or legal executive to join our nationally renowned domestic abuse, children, and stalking department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an award-winning team with excellent long-term prospects.
About the Role:
- Specialised Focus: Handle cases related to domestic abuse, children, and stalking
- Advocacy: Conduct your own advocacy
- Complex Cases: Deal with complex and sometimes distressing cases
- Travel: A full driving license and car are essential for this role
About You:
- Experience: Knowledge and awareness around domestic abuse and relevant legislation
- Advocacy Skills: Experience in conducting your own advocacy
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software
Responsibilities:
- Stay Updated: Remain up to date with changes to legislation and compliant with best practices
- Time Management: Maintain up-to-date time records of work done and billing
- CPD Requirements: Maintain CPD requirements in accordance with Law Society regulations
- Workload Prioritisation: Prioritise workload to meet deadlines
