Childcare Solicitor – Blackburn
Location: Blackburn
A Legal 500 firm in the North West is looking for a Children Panel Accredited Childcare Solicitor to join the team and handle a variety of child care work including conducting Court Advocacy.Â
Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of Childcare files, representing parents, grandparents, other family members and children directly or through CAFCASS
- Conducting advocacy and working legal aid matters
- Managing your own caseload of corporate and private clients
- Achieving billing and time recording targets
- Professional and proactive approach to work with a focus on client care, with the ability to deal with vulnerable clients and children in a sensitive manner to resolve complex Childcare matters
- Support the firm with business development and marketing activities to generate new business

Skills and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor with at least 1 years' PQE experience in Childcare and Children Panel Accredited by the Law Society
- Solid track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Good relationship management skills
- Strong attention to detail, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
