Solicitor / Legal Executive Family Law Hybrid/Blackurn My client, an award-winning law firm renowned for its expertise in domestic abuse, children, divorce, and finance, is looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic solicitor or legal executive for their nationally respected team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in domestic abuse, divorce, finance, and legal aid, as well as strong advocacy experience. This position offers excellent long-term prospects within a highly supportive, Lexcel-accredited department recommended in the Legal 500. My client provides very flexible hybrid working, with an initial office-based period to facilitate onboarding and training.Key Responsibilities
  • Handle complex and sensitive cases with a high level of professionalism and compassion.
  • Stay current with changes to legislation and maintain compliance with best practices.
  • Keep accurate records of time, billing, and case notes.
  • Meet continuing professional development (CPD) requirements in line with Law Society standards.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess:
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation around domestic abuse and family law, with a proven ability to conduct their own advocacy.
  • Experience in legal aid work, and handling divorce and finance cases.
  • Strong technical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with case management software.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, a proactive attitude, and exceptional attention to detail.
