Description

We are exclusively working with a plastics manufacturer who are looking for a Production Planner to join the team, based in Accrington.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check material produced from previous day’s production against stock scanned onto Delta.
  • Crete daily tool change schedule
  • Attend production meeting and communicate planned schedule to all attendees.
  • Run reports on re-order levels and schedule in any production needed.
  • Review and update re-order levels when needed.
  • Complete reports using SAGE for all customers and input and update the stock requirement.
  • Use MATTEC system to schedule the production plan.
  • Issue tool change sheets that are required.
  • Plan any rework required and issue rework sheets
  • Liaise with all department to make sure targets are met and expectations are aligned.
  • For night/weekend production issue a written plan broken down by shift with all priorities and changes planned in.
  • Liaise with Buyer on cartons needed.
  • Determine manpower, components and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
  • Assist with monthly stock take.
  • Administration duties when needed.
