Certain Advantage is hiring for a Conveyancing Administrator based in Blackburn.

This role is on a permanent basis and is office based.

Are you a customer-focused and highly organised professional looking for an opportunity in a fast-paced legal environment? My client is seeking a Conveyancing Administrator who will be responsible for completing all tasks on new conveyancing matters and quotes.

The Role:

This role will be working in a dynamic and growing business and playing a key role in delivering an exceptional customer service experience.

You will be responsible for:

  • Client Enquiries & Communication: Manage all new enquiries by speaking directly to clients-whether via telephone or walk-ins-to provide quotations, take instructions for computer-generated quotes, and confirm new instructions from referrers.
  • Client Onboarding & File Management: Open and set up new files, update fee earner details, conduct conflict checks, and manage all client onboarding tasks including payment processing, ID verification, and obtaining necessary property documents.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with referrers to serve as the primary point of contact for new enquiries, ensuring exceptional client care.
  • Administrative Support & Coordination: Perform a variety of administrative duties such as updating spreadsheets, booking appointments and meeting rooms, photocopying, scanning, and liaising with solicitors, lenders, agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Organise and manage all correspondence and documentation for the conveyancing process, meet monthly targets, adhere to practice procedures, and ensure full compliance with the office manual and The Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme.

£20,821, working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours)

24 days annual leave plus birthday plus bank holidays

The Individual

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage high volumes of work.
  • Attention to detail and work under pressure.
  • Must have good computer skills with knowledge of the Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Any previous experience in conveyancing
