Conveyancing Assistant – Blackburn

An award-winning firm in the North West is looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join its team and support a variety of residential conveyancing matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in customer service looking to start or advance their career in the legal field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the management of conveyancing files, ensuring excellent customer service to all clients
  • Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues and third parties via phone, email and in-person
  • Supporting the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
  • Assisting with the administration of residential transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and equity release
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Participating in business development opportunities and events
  • Ensuring compliance with professional conduct rules and internal policies and procedures
  • Supporting the financial aspects of client work, including billing and managing write-offs
