Days Only (Mon-Fri),

gap technical are proud to be representing established packaging business in their search for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Blackburn

Performance Objectives

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance.
• Analise and resolve issues.
• Conduct repairs.
• Perform general maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilities.
• Have a good interpersonal skills.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and be conversant with HACCP and BRC.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery is in optimal working condition.
• Set up machinery as required at production changeovers.

Person Specification

• The successful candidate will have 6+years of food manufacturing experience .
• Familiarity with some of the following types of machinery is required:
• Multihead weighing machines.
• Bagging machines.
• Linear weighers.
• Cartoning machines.
• Flow wrap machines.
• Shrink wrap machines.
• Coding equipment.
• Food Safety equipment (Check weighers & Metal Detectors).
