We're looking for an outstanding General Manager to own Production in a brand new rejuvenation centre and spearhead our team from our vibrant Head Office in Blackburn. This is more than a job; it's a chance to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company backed by a huge investment.
Your mission as a General Manager - Production:
- Be the driving force behind efficient production, upholding the highest standards in Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance while meeting rigorous quality benchmarks in a rejuvenation environment..
- Catalyse continuous improvement, enhancing processes, elevating product quality, and slashing waste and scrap.
- Embed lean business practices into daily routines, utilising tools like 5S and Total Productive Maintenance to optimise effectiveness.
- Vigilantly manage product standards, ensuring swift corrective actions for non-conformity.
- Uphold stringent process and procedure adherence, conducting meticulous product quality checks.
- Conduct performance evaluations, nurturing a harmonious and spirited team dynamic across functions.
- Oversee key performance indicators, championing best practices and maintaining budgetary discipline.
Your Profile:
- A proven track record in a Production Manager / Operations role.
- A master in lean Six Sigma practices.
- Proficient in IT, with strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ideally trained in IOSH Managing Safely, with experience in risk assessments and safe work documentation.
- A background in production control is a plus.
- Skilled in change management within a lean manufacturing landscape.
