About the role:

Are you a detail-oriented professional with payroll experience, eager to take your skills to the next level? Our expanding Payroll Team is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our fast-paced and growing organisation!

In this role, you will provide essential day-to-day payroll support and serve as the first point of contact for all payroll-related queries. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be key to ensuring smooth payroll operations and maintaining accessible, well-organized records.

You must be able to build strong relationships, and go the extra mile in supporting our team members and managers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare, process, and administer payroll, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Employee and Manager Support.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and line managers, providing prompt and accurate resolutions.
  • Compliance with Obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements, including the accurate processing of:New starters, leavers, transfers, and employee amendments.
  • Pension contributions and related documentation.
  • Statutory payments, such as maternity, paternity, parental leave, and statutory sick pay (SSP).
  • Manage and maintain the time and attendance system, ensuring all employee hours are recorded accurately.
  • Set up new employees and manage updates to employee records in the timekeeping system.
  • Review and validate approved working hours to ensure correct payment calculations.
  • Check payslips and payroll reports thoroughly during payroll validation to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors before final processing.

Essential:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on payroll experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of payroll processes and systems.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, line managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced excel and data analytic skills.
