KS2 Teacher - Blackburn:

Prospero teaching are looking for a qualified teacher, with experience teaching Year 6, to join one of our excellent primary schools near to Blackburn. This is a full time position to start after the February half term.

The Role:

  • Building rapport with parents, students and staff
  • Fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment
  • Managing curriculum and lesson plans
  • Adapting learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils

Position Details:

  • Position: KS2 Teacher (Year 6)
  • Location: Blackburn
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum rate of Pay: £140 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: After Feb half term
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position
  • Previous experience teaching KS2 class groups
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
