A friendly and welcoming inner city primary school in Peckham are looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join their school in January on a full-time basis.
The Role
In this role you will take on class teaching responsibilities including planning, teaching, assessments and monitoring for a year 5 class. As a 2-form-entry school you will have the benefit of working with a partner teacher to share planning responsibilities. The school teaches a broad curriculum where arts and PE are incorporated across the curriculum. Pupils at the school are engaged in learning and there is a positive and encouraging approach to behaviour with high-expectations for all. Pupils with additional needs are well supported with 1 to 1 learning support assistants within classes.
The school are looking to recruit an experienced teacher and therefore this role is not suitable for ECTs.
