Primary TA - Blackburn:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to join one of our schools near to Blackburn. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
- Building rapport with staff, students and parents
- Preparing learning resources and activities
Position Details:
- Location: Blackburn
- Position: Primary TA
- Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: Jan 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant is essential
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desired
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
