Primary Teaching Assistant - Blackburn:
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school near Blackburn to support pupils with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encouraging positive behaviour and learning
- Effective communication with staff, students and parents
- Supervising pupils during break and lunch time
Position Details:
- Position: Primary Teaching Assistant
- Location: Blackburn
- Hours: 8:15am-3:45pm
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
- Type of work: Temporary
- Minimum rate of pay: 95 per day dependant on experience
- Full time/part time: Full time only
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or an equivalent qualification
- Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
- Previous experience working with children of primary school age
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
