Due to expansion and growth, a leading manufacturer of advanced components to the aerospace, defence, energy and automotive sectors has a new vacancy for a Quality Inspector. You will have previous experience working in a complex manufacturing environment ensuring parts and processes comply with customer and regulatory standards.


Commutable from: Blackburn, Preston, Burnley, Bolton, Manchester, Rochdale.

Salary: £13.00 - £16.00 p.h. + benefits

Suitable for: Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Inspector, Quality Engineer.


The Role

Ensure all non-conforming work is segregated, clearly identified, and reported.
Ensure all documentation and calibration of equipment is current and correct.
Ensure that all inspection standards, as agreed with customers’ specifications, are carried out effectively before processing and at the inspection/despatch stage.
Assistance with technical disputes with other department managers and operators.
Ensure full compliance of the Company quality system.
Help in identifying continuous improvement techniques to aid in achieving business objectives.
Support system improvement project teams to ensure product flow is maintained and best practices are instigated.


The Person

Previous inspection experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Key Focus on Quality and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to understand and correctly interpret drawings.
Knowledge of manufacturing methods, quality system design and documentation.
